Introducing Free for All Leagues and the Global Leaderboard

With World Cup Leagues wrapped up and football leagues still a little ways away, we’re in a little bit of a gap between big time league types (except for Seamheads II of course). That’s why we’re introducing the Free For All league type and rolling out the brand new global leaderboard.

Free For All League Type

The Free For All league type gets rid of most of the normal restrictions of a LockLeague, but keeps all of the fun. Instead of the normal series of short windows, a Free For All league only has one window. That window is thirty days long, giving you the flexibility to make your picks on your own time. See a slate you love? Make fifteen picks in one day! Not feeling anything for a couple weeks? No worries, there’s still plenty of time left to avoid missed pick penalties. All sports are available and the odds limits are -1000 to +1000, so these leagues are truly a Free For All. Like other league types, you can create one and invite your crew, but Free For All leagues are also well suited for solo play. Even though you won’t find much competition in a solo league, you can still track your picks and see how you stack up on the new global leaderboard.

Global Leaderboard

The brand new global leaderboard tracks user performance in three categories:

• Weekly Leaderboard: This tracks the top ten LockLeagues competitors over the course of the current week. Missed picks are excluded. This leaderboard resets every Monday morning at midnight Eastern time.
• Last 20 Picks: This board shows who is on a hot streak. It shows the top twenty-five competitors over their last twenty picks. It does not matter when the picks were made; it is just a running tracker of who has done well recently. Missed picks are excluded for this leaderboard as well.
• All Time: This is where the greatest LockLeaguers of all time reside. This includes all picks, all time, including missed picks. You must have made at least twenty picks to be eligible for this leaderboard.

All leaderboards show standing, username, delta, and the user’s pick with the highest score impact, called biggest win. If you have the skills to make it on these leaderboards, your name will be highlighted!
