Pick of The Day
As you’ve probably noticed already, the title of this weekly article has changed. Sadly, we’ve made it to Friday but there is no light at the end of the tunnel because there is no puck tonight. However, we were victorious again last week, and I am never one to walk away from a hot streak. So, in the words of Charles Wesley Godwin, “Let’s warm up those hardwood floors” and head over to the NBA Playoffs. We have two game sixes to pick from tonight as the Cavs host the Pistons and the Timberwolves host the Spurs. I’ll be targeting the former, where I think the Cavs will put an end to this series. After a very impressive regular season, the Pistons have not looked very strong in the postseason. They barely escaped the lowly Orlando Magic and are now on the brink of elimination in the second round. In addition, the Cavs have been absolute world beaters in The Land during these playoffs, winning all 6 games and only failing to cover once. Cleveland simply has more playoff experience than the Pistons and I trust them more in this spot. With this line at only -3.5 and a rambunctious Friday night crowd in Cleveland, I’ll be laying the points and backing The Beard and the Cavs. Let em **C*** know!
