Friday Baseball Pick of the Day
While the world cup is now over, we still have baseball to fulfill our need of summer sports. And as long as the players are taking the diamond, you can bet that we’ll be making some picks and hitting some winners. So with my first MLB pick, I will be turning to the marquee matchup of the night where the New York Yankees will take on the Philadelphia Phillies. Both these teams are World Series contenders and I expect a high level baseball game in Philadelphia. At plus odds, I feel obligated to back the Bronx bombers in this spot. Yankees have the obvious pitching edge in this one as Cam Schlittler, the current Cy Young favorite, will be on the bump. I expect Schlittler to bring his best stuff against a loaded Phillies lineup and the Yanks offense to provide us with the run support we need to cash this winner. Lets play ball!
