Friday Baseball pick of the day
Another work week down means another Friday baseball pick. Our first baseball pick of the year two weeks ago was a big plus money win, as Cam Schlittler absolutely shoved against the Phillies in Citizens Bank Park, just like I said he would. Tonight we’ll be going down to the Lonestar state and backing the Texas Rangers to prevail against Baltimore Orioles. I hate paying this juice, but I do feel that even at -138 there is still some value on the Rangers. These two teams are going in different directions after the all star break as the O’s have had another disappointing campaign and have little to no hopes of seeing October, easily seen in selling Adley Rutschman and Taylor Ward at the deadline. The Rangers on the other hand are still firmly in the race for the AL West, sitting only 1.5 games behind the Astros. It is tough to back Nathan Eovaldi in his current form, but I trust the Rangers to do what they must and send the Friday night crowd home with a winner. Go Rangers!
