Week 0 Mortal Lock
It is my great honor to announce that football is officially back! We’ve made it through the dog days of summer and now have our first weekend of college football. Week 0 features 8 games and is the perfect appetizer to get us ready for the full slates in the coming weeks. For this week’s mortal lock we are headed to Charlottesville where the Virginia Cavaliers will be taking on the NC State. Wolfpack, in a game that was originally scheduled to take place in Brazil. I fully expect the Cavaliers to take full advantage of this new home field advantage and cover the number against the Wolfpack. While NC State quarterback CJ Bailey can be dynamic at times, he does struggle under pressure and UVA should get plenty of it against an offensive line that doesn’t return a whole lot of production and experience from last year. However on the other side of the ball, the Wahoos have a very experienced line and will look to lean on their opponent through the run game. From a motivational standpoint, NC State was one of the few teams to beat Virginia last season, so the Cavs will have some revenge on their minds come Saturday. Let’s hope new signal caller Beau Pribula can get his UVA career started off with an easy win. Go Wahoos!
